Firas Mikati's path to the camera began in Canada. A Vancouver Film School graduate, he started on set as a production assistant — learning the craft from the ground up.

He went on to work as an assistant director in Saudi Arabia, then returned to Lebanon, where he now shoots award-winning short films and directs creative campaigns of his own.

More than a decade in, one instinct still guides every project: find the light first, and let the frame follow.
